Full payment is due on the first day your child attends that week.
We accept personal cheques, Visa, Mastercard, debit, or cash.
Holidays: families must give 1 week written notice when scheduling time off.
Statutory Holidays: -will be billed to your account as it occurs.

*Please note we observe all statutory holidays.

Sick-Days: Parents will pay the daily rate for the scheduled day.

Illness Policy follows Health Unit Illness

1) There may be other illnesses and disease that come up periodically that we have not had previous policy on. Such cases will be dealt with at the time.

2) Health standards must be stricter than normal in settings where a lot of young children are altogether. In some cases, the Dutton Co operative Child Care Centre has the final say as to when a child should be excluded, or allowed to return to the centre.

3) Fever: Temperatures elevated 100F(37.8C) and above will require a child to be sent home. Child may return when temperature is stable without the use of medication.

4) Rashes: Parents will be required to pick up their child immediately when any change in appearance of the skin in noted Ie. colouring or appearance of spots, sores, patches of raised skin, etc. Child may return after cause is determined and or treatment is improving condition.

5) Vomiting and Diarrhea: If a child has two or more episodes of vomiting or diarrhea, parents shall be contacted and asked to pick up the child. The child must be free of vomiting or diarrhea episodes and not require medication to control the vomiting or diarrhea prior to returning the centre’s programs.

1) The decision of closing the centre will be made by the Executive Director and Program Supervisor.

2) Guidelines that will help determine the decision to close the child care centre are as follows: Travel on the road has been deemed unsafe and dangerous, school buses have been cancelled or the Dutton Public School have been closed.

3) When it is decided to close the centre during operating hours, no children will be accepted into the centre at that time.

4) Parents will be notified by phone as soon as possible after the decision has been made.

5) The parents will be responsible to make arrangements to have any children picked up from the centre within 2 hours of notification. After this late fees will apply.

Early Closure:

1) Should it be decided to close the centre before the time of 6:00 pm all the above guidelines will be followed.
2) The after School Program will not operate if the Dutton Public School closes before the regular time of 3:30pm.
